...yea, again. Because sometimes you just have to let things go.

ShadowedAsylums.net was registered on August 08, 2009, and is managed through and hosted by E-Starr.com. It has several predecessors, including fansite Mako Tears, fantasy-fiction site Darkwelle.com, and general collective site Rum & Coat. Why was it changed? See above. It also has more theme options than R&C, which was pretty blatantly pirate-oriented.

Version 'Dreamweaver' features Kusuri Uri, the apothecary (or, as he's affectionately known in some circles, 'Drug Pusher'). It was created in Photoshop 7 using the font Dali and brushes from Celestial Star and In Obscuro. The intermittant use of all lower-case text is a purely aesthetic choice - I do know it's not gramatically correct. ^^;

Most of the layouts on SA.net, including those for the subsites, are optimized for a screen size of 800x600 because I have problems with higher resolutions and that's what I'm running at. I've tried to at least see that they end up centered for everyone else; they're just going to look sort of small. They've been tested and shown to work properly in IE7 and will at least function in Firefox, though they don't always look as nice in the latter. If something's really off in another browser, you can let me know, but coding genius I am not (that's why I don't get paid to do this, heh).

All non-fandom content, and all original characters, locations, or objects created for the purpose of enhancing fandom projects, are the property of Scarlet Seraph and Shadowed Asylums. Specific instructions for the use of these properties can be found in the associated subsites, but in general, I would prefer that permission be asked before items are archived elsewhere. Shadowed Asylums is link-free to maintainers of personal webpages and other sites that are fandom-friendly - however, while SA.net does house some adult material, I do not wish to be associated with services whose revenue is earned largely or entirely through advertising or the transfer of pornography. If you are collecting links to this type of site, you are denied permission to include Shadowed Asylums or any of its subsites. If you have seen a link to Shadowed Asylums on such a site, it was placed there without my knowledge or permission.

For the sake of my bandwidth, any graphics used for the purpose of linking should be saved and uploaded to your own server. You're more than welcome to drop me a note and let me know where I've been linked from, but it's not a requirement.
